How to use this tool

Write what you actually observed, including what went well and what helped. Prepare questions for the learner’s teacher and print only if you want a copy.

What this tool does — and its limits

This is not a dyslexia checklist, screening tool, diagnostic test or risk score. Repeated concerns deserve an appropriate teacher/professional conversation; the diary cannot identify a condition.

Privacy and printing

These tools do not send your entries to the Academy. Avoid entering names, identifiers or private health information. Only flashcards and the mistake notebook among these new tools offer optional device storage; other entries clear when the page reloads or closes. Print only if you want a copy, and take care on shared devices.
