SUPPORTING LEARNING AT HOME
Use the current school portions and applicable official board material to make a chapter list. Mark each area as secure, developing or needing support based on an actual attempt. Alternate recall, worked examples, independent questions and review. An attractive timetable is useful only if the tasks fit the time available and change when new evidence appears.
A practical starting point
- Confirm the correct portions
- Attempt a representative question
- Prioritise one important gap
- Review the plan after practice
What to notice
Do not use an old online announcement as the current syllabus or exam timetable. Check the official source.
Review after trying the approach
Ask what became easier, where support is still needed and what to try next. Keep a small sample and compare it with the earlier attempt. Adjust the plan in response to the learner rather than repeating an unhelpful routine.
What could you ask TRICEF?
Contact the team with the current class, board, teaching language and a specific learning question. The team can explain current programmes and the support that may be suitable.
